Sterling and Turquoise Necklace by Joanna Craft

Joanna Craft, of California, uses traditional metalsmithing  techniques to transform raw materials into jewelry, including sawing, drilling, soldering, hammering and forging. Hammer marks, oxidizer ion and texture are part of the organic nature of her jewelry. Her work is inspired by the natural world, by past & present cultures and by her travels.

This striking necklace is composed of sterling silver and turquoise. The chain is 20” in circumference and the pendant is 13.5” making the entire length of the necklace when worn suspend approximately 18” down from the neck.
